Hugo Barra is the VP of VR at Facebook, heading the Oculus team. Prior to Facebook, Hugo was Vice President of Xiaomi's Global division, responsible for the company's products and operations in all markets outside of Mainland China. Before that, he served as Vice President of Android Product Management at Google, overseeing global development of the Android operating system.

Jorge Paulo Lemann

Entrepreneur, Investor, Philanthropist, 3G Co-Founder, and Innovation Enthusiast

Jorge Paulo Lemann is an innovation enthusiast, co-founder of 3G Capital. Mr. Lemann has a BA from Harvard University and since an early age was involved with entrepreneurship. He was the founding shareholder and principal executive of Banco de Investimentos Garantia in Brazil from 1971 through July 1998, acquired by Credit Suisse First Boston.

Previously to that he worked in Brazil's financial industry for 25 years where his main roles were CEO of Bank of America Merrill Lynch Brazil, Founding Partner of Vinci Partners, CEO of UBS Pactual and Senior Partner of Banco Pactual.

Bruno Yoshimura

General Partner at OneVC

Bruno Yoshimura is a general partner at ONEVC - a venture capital seed-stage fund based in Silicon Valley and Sao Paulo. Bruno has accumulated 15 years experience as a tech founder with extensive involvement in product, sales, and marketing. Before pursuing an MBA at Stanford he launched Kekanto - an online guide based on users reviews - and Delivery Direto - a white-label platform for restaurants backed by Accel Partners and sold to Locaweb in 2019. Bruno holds a major in computer science from the University of Sao Paulo.

Marcelo Barbará

Founding Partner, Lanx Capital and Cambuhy Investimentos

Marcelo Barbará is a fellow at Stanford University’s Distinguished Career Institute (DCI) and a founding partner of two investment companies: Cambuhy Investimentos and Lanx Capital, with investments in public companies, private equity, venture capital, startups, real estate, and liquid assets. With over 37 years of experience in the financial markets, he has held a variety of roles. He was a partner at Banco Garantia, Managing Director at Credit Suisse and CEO of RB Capital.

Marcelo is a co-founder and board member of ProA Institute, board member of Four Institute, board member of Positive Ventures (venture capital fund that seeks impact investments), and a board member of MASP, São Paulo Art Museum. 

He was a director of the Brazilian Association for Capital Markets (Anbima) and a member of its Monetary Policy Committee and Ethics Committee.

Murilo Moura

Sloan Fellow from Stanford Graduate School of Business

Murilo Moura is a Sloan fellow from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is a founding member of Brazil at Silicon Valley and co-president of its first edition. Murilo has transitioned to the entrepreneurial and investment ecosystem of innovation and technology, after 15 years at leading investment bank institutions in Brazil. He is a former partner at Vectis Capital and served as director of the fixed income and structuring division of Credit Suisse. Murilo holds a major in Naval Engineering from POLI-USP, and two masters from Stanford University in management and public policy (with coursework concentration on entrepreneurship, venture capital, marketplace design, and AI).
